  • PASSING OFFENSE: The combined passing line included 304 yards and an 82.0 rating, but J.T. O'Sullivan made the game-crushing mistakes. Grade: D

  • RUNNING OFFENSE: Frank Gore bounced back from an 11-yard effort with 94 yards — amazing considering the defensive attention he commands. Grade: B

  • PASSING DEFENSE: Linebackers couldn't contain Leonard Weaver, who had TD catches of 43 and 62 yards. Ten of Seattle's 14 first downs were through the air. Grade: D

  • RUNNING DEFENSE: Seattle managed just a 1.4-yard average on its 39 carries. Julius Jones had the longest run of the day at 14 yards. Grade: A

  • SPECIAL TEAMS: Andy Lee averaged 49.0 yards per punt, and Joe Nedney improved to 17 for 19 on field-goal attempts. Grade: B

  • COACHING: Mike Singletary showed decisiveness with O'Sullivan and Vernon Davis, but the 49ers looked flat and surrendered 30-plus points for the fifth time. Grade: D
