The Discovery Bay Boy Scouts will collect nonperishable food donations 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Safeway, 14840 Highway 4. The donations will be distributed to the Food bank of Contra Costa and Solano. Discovery Bay Lions will be collected used eyeglasses for their vision programs.
