MONDAY, Dec. 17

  • WARRANT -- At 10 a.m. officers arrested a San Pablo woman at her home for an outstanding Albany warrant for DUI.

  • WARRANT -- Officers arrested an El Cerrito woman at her home for an outstanding Albany warrant for DUI at 11:30 a.m.

  • SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY -- At 3:30 p.m. officers responded to reports of a transient looking man who was pacing up and down Washington Avenue and acting suspiciously. The man was not causing any trouble and was allowed to depart.

    TUESDAY, Dec. 18

  • AUTO THEFT -- At 1 a.m. a Jackson Street resident reported the theft of a car during the day.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Belongings were stolen overnight from a car on Pomona Avenue. Thieves also broke into a car parked in a driveway on Masonic Avenue.

  • AUTO RECOVERY -- At 3:30 p.m. officers investigated a vehicle that had been parked on Cornell Avenue for more than 10 days and found it had been reported stolen out of Richmond. The owner was notified.

    WEDNESDAY, Dec. 19

  • ASSAULT -- Officers investigating reports of a verbal altercation at a residence on Brighton Avenue at 8 a.m. arrested an Albany man for suspicion of assault and making threats.

  • DISTURBANCE -- At 1:30 a.m. officers responded to the area of Solano and Kains Avenue on reports of a person causing a disturbance. They arrested an Albany man for suspicion of disorderly conduct and a probation violation.

  • THEFT -- Officers responded to the Target Store on Eastshore at 3 p.m. on reports that security had a person in custody for stealing a television. They arrested the Oakland man for suspicion of petty theft.

  • THEFT -- At 4:30 p.m. an employee at Solano Cellars on Solano Avenue reported that three iPhones had been stolen within the previous hour. The caller gave a description of four possible suspects and officers are investigating.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- The driver's side window of a car in the far north lot of the Target Store on Eastshore was broken between 4 and 5 p.m., but nothing appeared to have been stolen.

    FRIDAY, Dec. 21

  • HOME BREAK-IN -- At 3:30 a.m. a Sonoma Street resident reported hearing a loud bang and seeing a man forcing the front door open. He was seen walking away from the building heading east and was gone when officers arrived.

  • AUTO BREAK-INS -- A car in a driveway on San Carlos Street, and a car on Santa Fe Avenue were burgled overnight.

  • AUTO THEFT -- A car parked near 535 Pierce St. was burgled sometime between Dec. 19 and 21.

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- At 10:30 a.m. officers received a report that a car in the Safeway parking lot had been broken into and property stolen.

  • THEFT -- The catalytic converter was stolen overnight off a car on Talbot Avenue.

  • AUTO THEFT -- During the day a car was stolen in the 600 block of Key Route Boulevard.

  • THEFT -- At 3:30 p.m. a Santa Fe Avenue resident reported that someone had just stolen a package by the front door. The caller provided a description of the possible thieves and a description of their car.

  • WARRANT -- Officers arrested a Richmond woman at 8 p.m. for an outstanding Albany warrant for DUI.

    SATURDAY, Dec. 22

  • DUI -- At 2 a.m. officers arrested a Richmond man on San Pablo Avenue at Clay Street for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • DRUGS -- Officers arrested a San Pablo woman in the 700 block of Jackson Street at 4 p.m. for suspicion of drug possession.

  • ATTEMPTED BREAK-IN -- Shortly before midnight a caller reported interrupting a man trying to break into their car.

    SUNDAY, Dec. 23

  • DUI -- Officers stopped a vehicle on San Pablo Avenue near Brighton Avenue at 2 a.m. for a vehicle code violation and arrested an Oakland man for suspicion of two counts of DUI.
