Pyknic is a cuddly and gorgeous 3-year-old cat with lots of love to give. Her silky smooth mane makes her look like a chocolate lion. Pyknic loves the company of people, always reaching out for pets and scratches behind the ears. She also loves the company of other cats and would do well in a home with another cat given a proper introduction.
A note from her foster:
"Pyknic is a black beauty! Depending on which way the light hits her long, flowing fur, it can range from a black to a deep, espresso brown. She is a very confident cat, and had no qualms about exploring her environment after being let out of her carrier. She is extremely mellow, and loves human company."
If you would like to meet Pyknic, stop by the shelter during adoption hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Willard is a 7-month-old fun-loving pup who loves to play and will steal your heart. He's curious, friendly and loves everyone he meets. He has nice manners and enjoys training. Willard is great with other dogs and might even be able to live peacefully with dog-savvy cats given proper training and introduction.
A note from one of our kennel attendants:
"Willard is a quick study, and he has already begun learning some basic obedience skills. He knows 'sit' like the back of his paw, and he's starting to work on 'stay.' He has also undergone some elementary crate training; he loves his crate, and he will even enter and exit on cue. This will give him a head start when it comes to house training and travel."
Come meet Willard and all of his friends during our dog adoption hours from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Friday.
