MONDAY, April 15

  • ROWDY GROUP -- At 8:30 p.m. officers issued a warning to a group of juveniles, about 12 to 15 years of age, seen throwing rocks on the south side of Buchanan Street near Jackson Street. The group was allowed to depart.

  • TOW -- Officers towed a car parked near Cleveland Street and Solano Avenue at 10:30 p.m.

    TUESDAY, April 16

  • ASSISTANCE -- Officers contacted a man near Designer Hair Care on San Pablo Avenue at 2 a.m. who had been drinking and could not care for himself. He was taken to the hospital.

  • WARRANT -- At 10 a.m. officers who contacted a Hercules man in the 1200 block of Portland Avenue for suspicious activity arrested him for an outside warrant and suspicion of a parole violation.

  • THEFT -- At 7:30 p.m. a Kains Avenue resident reported that car keys were stolen from her unlocked house while she was in the home. Officers are investigating.

    WEDNESDAY, April 17

  • TOW -- At 1:30 a.m. officers towed a vehicle blocking a Solano Avenue driveway.

  • SUSPICION -- During the afternoon officers investigated a report from a Sonoma Street resident whose neighbors were on vacation. The caller discovered the neighbors' rear door was open.

  • DISTURBING ACTIVITY -- A caller reported that a man was seen masturbating near Solano and Carmel avenues and again on Solano Avenue near Peralta Avenue.

  • ASSISTANCE -- Offices responded to CVS Pharmacy on Solano Avenue at 8:30 p.m. on reports of a person who had been drinking and was passed out in the doorway. He was taken to the hospital.

    THURSDAY, April 18

  • DUI -- At 2 a.m. officers arrested a San Pablo man in the 1200 block of San Pablo Avenue for suspicion of two counts of DUI.

  • THEFT -- The theft of keys and a garage door remote from a car on Pierce Street was reported.

  • DISTURBANCE -- Officers responded to the 1100 block of Solano Avenue at 7:30 p.m. on reports of a person who appeared to be trying to break into cars. Officers arrested an Oakland man for suspicion of disorderly conduct.

    FRIDAY, April 19

  • DUI -- At 1 a.m. officers who stopped a vehicle on Buchanan Street near Polk Street for a code violation arrested a Berkeley man, for suspicion of DUI.

  • DRUG POSSESSION -- Officers contacted a transient man acting suspiciously near the AM/PM on San Pablo Avenue at 5 a.m. and arrested him for suspicion of drug possession and a probation violation.

  • VANDALISM -- At 8 a.m. a caller reported that lug nuts were removed from a car on Curtis Street and piled next to the vehicle.

  • THEFT -- At 7:30 p.m. it was reported that two men stole alcohol from Beverages and More on San Pablo Avenue and fled northbound in a 1990s cream-colored Lexus.

  • DRUG POSSESSION -- Officers responded to the Target Store on Eastshore at 11 p.m. on reports of a person at the door who wouldn't let the store close. They arrested the Richmond man for suspicion of drug possession and possession of a fake ID.

    SATURDAY, April 20

  • THEFT -- At 6 p.m. officers arrested an Antioch man at Safeway on Solano Avenue for suspicion of burglary and petty theft.

    SUNDAY, April 21

  • AUTO BREAK-IN -- Overnight, a laptop was stolen from a car in a garage on Cornell Avenue after the back driver's side window was smashed.
