The following calls were among those handled by the Antioch police Oct. 1-5, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Oct. 1
Burglary: At 11:53 a.m. it was reported a residence in the 4600 block of Wolf Way was burglarized. Burglary: At 2:46 p.m. it was reported a residence in the 3500 block of Gentrytown Drive was burglarized. Robbery: At 4:22 p.m. someone was robbed at gunpoint on Fourth and A streets by two males in a tan Buick LeSabre. Take was money. Oct. 2
Burglary: At 12:31 p.m. it was reported a residence in the 2000 block of Greentree Court was burglarized. Entry was made through a garage door. Attempted robbery: At 12:20 a.m. a customer in the Safeway parking lot on Deer Valley Road was wrestled to the ground by a male who tried to get his wallet from a back pocket. Robbery: At 4:47 p.m. a male wearing a wig and dark sunglasses gave a note and a paper bag to a clerk at the Safeway on Deer Valley Road demanding money with no dye packs. Subject made off with an unknown amount of cash. Oct. 3
Burglary: At 9:02 a.m. it was reported a purse containing $500 cash was stolen from a residence in the 700 block of O Street. Burglary: At 12:51 p.m. it was reported a residence in the 4300 block of Via Dora Drive was burglarized. Assault: At 9:28 p.m. officers responded to the 2500 block of A Street for the report of two to three males engaged in a physical altercation. Oct. 4
Attempted robbery: At 9:24 a.m. a juvenile reported that a classmate attempted to rob him of a watch at a school on Spartan Way. Burglary: At 3:48 p.m. it was reported a residence in the 4500 block of Fieldcrest Way was burglarized and ransacked. Assault: At 7:41 p.m. a female reported she was punched in the face by an unknown subject on G and Putnam streets. Victim required medial attention.Oct. 5
Robbery: At 12 p.m. a resident in the 2400 block of Shadow Lane reported his 20-year-old autistic niece was robbed of an iPod at a bus stop near Antioch High School. Victim was pushed to the ground but was not injured. Burglary: At 3:25 p.m. it was reported a residence in the 1100 block of Rockspring Way was burglarized. Entry was made through an unlocked bedroom window. Burglary: At 11:07 p.m. it was reported a residence in the 2000 block of Sycamore Drive was burglarized. -- Nan Hargis
