The following calls were among those handled by the Antioch police Oct. 14-18, according to information provided by the Police Department.
Oct. 14
Burglary: At 3:13 p.m. it was reported an apartment in the 2100 block of Lemontree Way was broken into. Entry was made by breaking a bedroom window. Burglary: At 6:13 p.m. it was reported a residence in the 5000 block of Furlong Way was burglarized. Resident was unsure if anything was taken. Assault: At 10:34 p.m. it was reported two males were engaged in a physical altercation in the 500 block of West 10th Street. Oct. 15
Robbery: At 9:31 a.m. two females were assaulted and robbed of cell phones and jewelry by two males at a park on Empire Mine Road and Mesa Ridge Drive. Assault: At 11:43 a.m. a passenger in a silver vehicle jumped out an shot at someone walking in the 1900 block of Auto Center Drive. No injuries were reported. Assault: At 4:22 p.m. Sutter Delta Medical Center reported a male was in the emergency room for treatment of injuries suffered in an attempted robbery. Oct. 16
Assault: At 1:56 a.m. officers responded to the 37 block of El Capitan Lane for the report of an out-of-control female fighting with family members. Attempted burglary: At 4:30 a.m. it was reported a female resident interrupted a burglary at her residence in the 1900 block of Acacia Avenue. Male subject fled the scene. Robbery: At 4:35 p.m. a male was robbed of his bike by a male with a knife in the 100 block of West Eighth Street. Victim told police he had seen the subject living in a tent near the water.Oct. 17
Assault: At 10:17 a.m. officers responded to the 4700 block of Sterling Hill Drive for the report of juveniles shot with a BB gun by a student. Burglary: At 11:36 a.m. it was reported a residence in the 2300 block of Lemontree Way was burglarized. Entry was made through a window. Burglary: At 7:43 p.m. it was reported a residence in the 3900 block of Kite Way was burglarized. Entry was made through a sliding door. Oct. 18
Assault: At 7:48 p.m. it was reported a male assaulted a female inside the Burger King in the 2400 block of Mahogany Way. Burglary: At 8:31 p.m. it was reported a residence in the 1000 block of St. Frances Drive was burglarized. Back door had been smashed and the alarm panel torn off the wall. Suspicious circumstances: At 10:51 p.m. a resident in the 100 block of West 10th Street reported he heard glass breaking in the empty apartment next door. -- Nan Hargis
