ANTIOCH -- Seven men were shot Saturday evening by an unknown suspect at a residence, authorities said.

Officers responded about 11:50 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the 5500 block of Cedar Point Way, Antioch police Sgt. Santiago Castillo said. Five shooting victims were found at the home, and they were taken to various hospitals for treatment.

According to Castillo, two other victims later arrived at separate hospitals and were determined to be part of the same shooting. All seven victims are expected to survive their injuries.

Police have not identified the shooter at this time, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately released. The names of the injured victims were withheld due to the pending investigation.
