Josh Reddick's defense in right field this season is worthy of Gold Glove consideration, and his throwing arm is one reason why. He has 14 assists, the most by an Oakland outfielder since Dwayne Murphy has 14 in 1984, and second-most in the majors entering play Friday night.

Here's the top 10:

No. 1 is Jeff Francouer of the Kansas City Royals with 18.

No. 2 is Reddick with 14.

No. 3 are Alex Gordon of the Royals and Jason Kubel of the Arizona Diamondbacks with 13.

Next are Alfonso Soriano of the Chicago Cubs and Dayan Viciedo of the White Sox with 12.

Rounding out the top 10, with 11 outfield assists, are Toronto's Jose Bautista, Atlanta's Jason Heyward, Torii Hunter of the Angels, and Hunter Pence of the Giants.
