CLEVELAND -- Josh Reddick became the third Oakland outfielder to go on the disabled list Wednesday when the right fielder's injured right wrist landed him on the 15-day DL.
Reddick, whose spot on the A's roster was taken by first baseman Daric Barton, joins fellow outfielders Coco Crisp and Chris Young on the DL.
Reddick had shots of xylocaine and cortisone injected in his wrist before Tuesday's game but said he was still feeling pain.
First baseman Brandon Moss replaced Reddick in right field for Wednesday's game in Cleveland with Barton taking over at first for Moss.
To make room for Barton on the 40-man roster, left-handed pitcher Jordan Norberto, who has missed time with elbow pain at Triple-A Sacramento, was released. The A's would like to sign him to a minor league deal if it can be worked out.
