NEW YORK -- The A's reinstated Josh Reddick from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday as expected and placed first baseman Kyle Blanks on the DL to make room on the roster.

Reddick completed a four-game stint on an injury rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento to show his hyperextended right knee is sound.

Blanks has been hobbled by a calf injury.
