OAKLAND -- A's right fielder Josh Reddick has been activated from the 15-day disabled list after missing the last three weeks with a strained right knee.

Reddick has been sidelined for most of the past two months because of the injured right knee. He was out from June 1-23 with a hyperextension, then played in just four games before going on the DL again with the knee strain.

For the season, Reddick is hitting .229 with four homers and 24 RBI in 54 games.

To make room on the 25-man roster for Reddick, infielder Andy Parrino was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento following Sunday's game against Baltimore.
