ALAMEDA -- Police say they have arrested a man who fired a gunshot at another man during a dispute last weekend at the former Alameda Naval Air Station.
The name of the man, who faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, was not disclosed. Investigators arrested him Thursday after serving a search and arrest warrant in Berkeley.
The man is accused of firing at least one shot at another man the afternoon of June 10 during a dispute in the 2700 block of Orion Street.
The incident occurred just about 90 minutes before another man was shot in the arm as he sat in a car outside an apartment complex at Park Street and Eagle Avenue. He was treated at Highland Hospital in Oakland and released.
It remains unknown whether the two shootings are related and the cases remain under investigation, police say.
