Wednesday, May 21

  • 12:08 a.m. -- Artuna Avenue. Someone was reportedly talking too loud.

  • 12:14 p.m. -- Hollis Street. Two dogs were inside a vehicle with an internal temperature of 128 degrees for at least 20 minutes. The dogs were taken to an animal shelter.

    Thursday, May 22

  • 12:58 a.m. -- Dudley Court. A possible prowler turned out to be raccoons that were eating out of the trash and the cat's dish on the porch.

  • 11:12 a.m. -- Olive Avenue. A resident reported that someone had rummaged through a vehicle and stolen a phone cord, glasses and grocery bags. Estimated value is $30.

    Friday, May 23

  • 2:06 p.m. -- Sandringham Avenue. A resident reported a diamond ring that she had ordered online had been stolen. She had confirmed delivery of the ring and that an unknown individual had signed receipt of it.

  • 4:07 p.m. -- Estates Drive. A resident reported that someone had fraudulently opened three credit card accounts in her name.

    Saturday, May 24

  • 10:37 a.m. -- Highland Avenue. A resident found three lacrosse jerseys, a helmet and a pair of gloves in front of a home.

    Sunday, May 25

  • 9:56 a.m. -- Hillside. Someone vandalized tires on a parked vehicle.

    Monday, May 26

  • 8:05 a.m. -- Piedmont Avenue/Pleasant Valley Road. A motorist was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • 8:44 a.m. -- Grand Avenue. Someone stole a 1994 gray Honda Civic.
