GILROY -- One man has been arrested in connection with the April killing of a Gilroy woman, while police said a second suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, remains at large.

German Baldeon, 68, was arrested on suspicion of homicide after police connected him to the death of his wife, Doris Knapp, who was found dead in her home April 1, Gilroy Sgt. Wes Stanford said.

Detectives arrested Baldeon at his home at 1404 Bristlecone Drive in Gilroy, Stanford said, when they served him search and arrest warrants.

Detectives also attempted to arrest 59-year-old David Galvez, who they also believe is a suspect in Knapp's death, at a home in the 300 block of Portico Court in Tracy. However, Stanford said, Galvez was not there, and as of Thursday night is still wanted on a $1 million arrest warrant.

Galvez is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, roughly 220 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. He may be armed, police added.

Anyone who sees Galvez should call 911 immediately. Anyone with information about the homicide, or the whereabouts of David Galvez, can contact Gilroy Det. Mike Bolton at 408-846-0350, or report anonymously at 1-800-782-7463 (800-78-CRIME).
