OAKLAND -- Police are investigating two Friday night East Oakland shootings that sent two people to the hospital.
The first shooting took place just before 6 p.m. in the 9200 block of A Street, said Officer K. McDonald.
That victim was transported to a hospital and was listed in stable condition Saturday morning, police said.
The second shooting took place at about 11:55 p.m. in the 8700 block of Dowling Street.
The victim in the shooting was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition, McDonald said.
As of Saturday morning no arrest had been made and a motive for the shootings was not known.
