OAKLAND -- Police are investigating the 83rd homicide of the year in Oakland after a man was shot and killed at an apartment complex in East Oakland on Thursday afternoon.
The name of the 33-year-old man was not immediately available. The shooting happened at 2:10 p.m. in man's apartment in the 2300 block of E. 22nd Street. Police did not have information about a motive and no arrests have been made.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the gunman.
