OAKLAND -- A 34-year-old man was shot and killed inside a house not far from San Antonio Park on Friday night, police said.

Police did not release the man's name.

No suspects are in custody and police do not have a motive in the killing -- the 87th this year.

Police said neighbors heard gunshots and when police arrived found the man dead in the house in the 1800 block Commerce Way in East Oakland. The shooting occurred about 6:45 p.m. Friday.
