Two suspects were arrested early today following a burglary attempt at a Novato Pacific Gas & Electric plant.

One suspect was nabbed by an officer shortly near the facility near Hamilton Drive about 3 a.m. The other suspect was arrested following a search of the area.

One officer was slightly hurt after tackling a suspect, but did not need hospital treatment, a dispatcher said.

The two were apparently trying to take copper stored at the facility.

Details were not immediately available, and the suspects had not been booked at county jail by 6:30 a.m.
