DUBLIN -- City council candidates will discuss their views on Tri-Valley environmental issues in a public forum 8 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Sunday School Barn at Dublin Heritage Park, 6600 Donlon Way.

The public is invited to attend the free event sponsored by the Sierra Club, Save Mount Diablo and five other environmental groups.

Six candidates seek two spots on the Dublin City Council. Incumbent Kevin Hart is running against Doreen Wehrenberg, David Haubert, Anita Carr, Shawn Costello and Shehu Hassan.
