CONCORD -- Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect after a woman had her driver's license and credit card taken from her in the Sunvalley Mall parking lot Wednesday.

Police responded to the Macy's women's store at the mall about 7:22 p.m. after a woman had said she was robbed in the parking lot, said Lt. Darrell Graham of the Concord Police Department.

Graham said the woman was approached from behind and a man pointed something against the back of her head and demanded she give him all her money.

However, Graham said the woman did not have any cash so she gave him her driver's license and her credit card instead.

The man pushed the woman to the ground before running to an older model, light-colored, small car, and drove off.

The woman did not suffer any injuries.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Concord police at 925-603-5836.
