OAKLAND -- Traffic is moving again in East Oakland following a crash that left one person pinned under a car, police said.

Officers responded about 1:10 p.m. to Fruitvale Avenue and Foothill Boulevard for a report of a person trapped under a vehicle that had veered off the street and onto the sidewalk, police said.

The car was traveling on Foothill Boulevard when it turned onto Fruitvale Boulevard and struck another car and then hit at least two people. Their names and ages were not released. Their conditions were not available Thursday.

The crash remains under investigation.
