HAYWARD -- A 22-year-old Alameda man is recovering after being shot multiple times at a pizza parlor early Tuesday morning, police said.
He was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries not deemed life-threatening, Hayward police Sgt. Eric Krimm said.
The suspect, Aaron Thigpen, 34, of Hayward, was arrested a short time later at Lucky Supermarket, 22555 Mission Blvd., after witnesses identified him, Krimm said.
Krimm said the victim and the shooter were previously ejected from a Hayward bar after some kind of dispute.
The victim left the bar and went to a Pizza House restaurant, 954 B St. Around 12:50 a.m., the shooter arrived at the restaurant and fired three rounds from a handgun, hitting the victim three times.
