CONCORD -- Two of three people suspected of firing shots from their moving vehicle after an argument Saturday outside a pizza restaurant were arrested after the car was spotted in Oakland early Monday morning, police said.

No one was injured in the shooting.

Two of the three suspects were found in West Oakland near the car believed to be involved in the drive-by shooting, which happened about 7:40 p.m. at Monument Boulevard and Detroit Avenue in Concord, Police Lt. Dave Hughes said. The man and woman were arrested about 7:30 a.m. and brought back to Concord to be questioned by police. Their names were not released.

One of the two male suspects remains at large, Hughes said.

The shooting was sparked by a dispute between the suspects and the victim after they exchanged words at a Round Table Pizza in the Park N Shop plaza off Willow Pass Road, Hughes said. The victim and the suspected did not know each other, he said.

After the victim left the restaurant, the suspects followed him to the intersection, then fired shots at the vehicle from what police called a "high-caliber" gun.

None of the shots hit the victim, Hughes said, but one bullet hit the hood of his car. The victim was not injured.
