ORINDA -- Drivers were somewhat back-logged on their commute home Wednesday night after about 100 pounds of logs spilled onto Fish Ranch Road.

The California Highway Patrol responded about 3:31 p.m. to a call of a truck that had spilled a load of wood it was carrying in front of Fish Ranch Road Farms Nursery.

The 100 pounds of tree stumps were scattered across the windy road, blocking traffic, CHP officers said.

Fish Ranch Road between Grizzly Peak Road and Highway 24 was been closed to traffic during the clean-up process.

Drivers were instructed to take alternate routes.
