Monday, jan. 21

  • 3:13 p.m. -- Moraga Avenue. A burglary was reported. It happened sometime between 1 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., police said.

    Tuesday, jan. 22

  • 8:40 p.m. -- St. James Drive. A resident asked police to increase patrols in the neighborhood, saying his vehicle has been broken into on three occasions in the past few month. The last break-in occurred the previous weekend, when someone stole his spare tire, iron and jack, police said.

    Wednesday, jan. 23

  • 4:45 p.m. -- Grand Avenue. A noninjury traffic accident was reported.

    Thursday, jan. 24

  • 1:27 p.m. -- King Avenue. A caller told police that someone broke into his residence sometime Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

  • 2:16 p.m. -- Greenbank Avenue. A caller reported the theft of the catalytic converter from his vehicle. The theft occurred sometime Monday, police said.

  • 3:56 p.m. -- Calvert Court. Identity theft.

  • 1:02 p.m. -- Dudley Avenue. Someone broke a window while trying to burglarize a residence, police said. Another resident of the street contacted police at 3:25 p.m., saying a motorist damaged her front gate and then fled the scene.

    Saturday, jan. 26

  • 1:09 p.m. -- Dracena Avenue. A woman told police that someone rifled through her vehicle while she was on vacation. No items were stolen, and the vehicle was not damaged. It happened sometime between Jan. 1 and Jan. 6.

  • 6:10 p.m. -- Scenic Avenue. An owl apparently broke the front window at a residence in what was initially reported as a possible vandalism, police said.

  • 6:28 p.m. -- Nace Avenue. The theft of a blue 1995 Honda Accord was reported. The theft occurred sometime after noon.

    Sunday, jan. 27

  • 8 a.m. -- St. James Drive. A vehicle break-in was reported.
