SAN JOSE -- A 24-year-old woman died this morning after falling from the 11th story of a downtown San Jose high-rise building, according to police.
San Jose police conducted a preliminary investigation and did not find any evidence of foul play, according to Sgt. Jason Dwyer.
The woman has been identified by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office as Tamara Jennifer Toth, of San Jose. The coroner's office cited the cause of death as injuries due to a fall.
A police sergeant at the scene of the City Heights condominium complex said Toth's death appeared to be an accident.
Officers responded to the complex at 175 West St. James Street at about 2:50 a.m. Friday, Dwyer said.
