FREMONT -- Traffic is crawling along the Dumbarton Bridge after a big rig dropped some of its load onto the roadway and a vehicle overturned Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers were called at 2:22 p.m. to the eastbound lanes of State Route 84 just east of the toll plaza in Fremont for a report of a big rig that dropped debris and a vehicle that was on its side, said Officer James Evans.
When officers arrived they discovered no one had been injured in the crash.
A heavy duty wrecker has been called out to the scene, Evans said.
