Drivers on Lone Tree Way between Brentwood and Antioch should expect overnight delays next week as work continues to widen Highway 4.
Contractors will be perform traffic control to slow traffic as they work to remove temporary bridge falsework where the freeway will one day cross over Lone Tree, according to a Contra Costa Transportation Authority news release.
One lane will be open both eastbound and westbound at all times.
Traffic control will take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Tuesday through Feb. 23 on Lone Tree between Jeffery Way in Brentwood and Canada Valley Road in Antioch.
Motorists should expect delays and allow extra commute time.
