Police served a search warrant at the house on Ebbetts Lane at about 8 a.m. Friday morning, Brentwood police Sgt. Walter O'Grodnick said. They were following up on leads and information on an identity theft that could have been tied to the recent crimes, O'Grodnick said.

The occupants of the home cooperated with police during the search, he said.

Recent home burglaries in Brentwood targeted firearms, electronics and jewelry, police said. Burlaries have been reported at 25 homes in Brentwood since the start of the year, and three of those homes belonged to police officers, O'Grodnick said.
