CONCORD -- Several police officers responded to the K-Mart on Clayton Road on Tuesday night for reports of people with guns, but instead they found a group of teenagers with BB guns.
Concord police were called the store's parking lot, located at 5100 Clayton Road, about 6:45 p.m.
Lt. Darrell Graham said police drew their guns when surrounding people who were reported to have weapons, but officers found that the teenagers, whose identities were not released, instead had BB guns.
No one was hurt, but the juveniles were "up to no good," Graham said.
The store was never closed, though three police cars blocked the entrance to the store.
