CONCORD -- A vehicle that was apparently hit from behind crashed through shubbery and slammed into a Lexus dealership parking lot in Concord on Saturday, the California Highway Patrol said.
Around 2:56 p.m., CHP officers, Concord police and paramedics were called out to the accident behind the Lexus Concord dealership located in the 2100 block of Market Street.
The red sedan suffered major damage, and the driver of the vehicle was taken to John Muir Medical Center with unspecified injuries, according to the CHP. His identity was not released by police.
No cars at the dealership were hit and no one else reported injuries.
The make and model of the car that reportedly hit the red sedan was also not released by police.
