NEWARK -- When Estella Pinto saw her husband getting into a car with another woman at the Good Times Lounge one night last week, things turned bad, fast.

She hit the accelerator and rammed her car into the couple's car, which then hit a parked car, police said.

Pinto, 39, of Newark was arrested early Friday morning ¿on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and suspicion of domestic violence, said Newark Police Cmdr. Mike Carroll.

Pinto was not listed in custody in Alameda County on Monday and she was not immediately available for comment.

It was not clear if Pinto had been following her husband and the unknown woman to the parking lot of the bar in the 36000 block of Newark Boulevard or if she happened upon them as they were entering their vehicle about 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

She was not injured after the incident, and drove away from the scene, police said. The other woman had an injury to her leg, police said. The man was not injured.

Pinto was taken into custody a few hours later after she and car were located at the Bridgeport Apartment complex in the 36000 block of Cherry Street in Newark.

The husband was located later in East Palo Alto, and Carroll said he was "extremely uncooperative" after the incident.
