CONCORD -- A motorcyclist injured in a collision with a car on Saturday was in critical condition, police said Monday.

The wreck occurred around 2:35 p.m. on Solano Way near the corner of Arnold Industrial Place, when a vehicle pulled out in front of the motorcycle, Concord police Lt. Robin Heinemann said.

Police did not identify the motorcyclist, who suffered two fractured arms, Heinemann said. He is expected to survive his injuries.

The collision remains under investigation. It does not appear drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash, officials said.
