All lanes are open following a big rig collision and fuel spill on westbound Interstate Highway 580 in Pleasanton early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to the CHP, a big rig struck a sound wall on westbound I-580, underneath the I-680 overcrossing.

A Sig-alert was issued at 1:15 a.m., according to the CHP.

According to the CHP, about 40 gallons of diesel fuel from the big rig's fuel tank are estimated to have spilled onto the roadway.

The roadway was clear by about 3:15 a.m., according to the CHP.
