Angels 2, Phillies 1: Rigo Zapien, of the Phillies, and Mason Arnold, of the Angels, faced off in an old fashioned pitchers duel. For the Angels, Cole Gibson made some outstanding plays in the field to keep the game scoreless until the top of the fourth inning. Offensively, Drew Arruda hit a double and drove in the first Angels run. Cole Gibson followed with an RBI single to put the Angels up 2-1, and Arruda closed the door with the stellar pitching in the sixth. For the Phillies, great defensive plays were made by Parker Brandt and Kyle Betz.
Angels 13, Padres 4: For the Padres, Michael Grant hit a double and stole his way around the bases to score. Joey Orluck contributed an RBI double that reached the outfield. For the Angels, Cole Reppas led the defensive with several nice plays in the field, and Brandon McDougal added several put-outs. Reppas and McDougal also contributed hits at the plate.
Phillies 11, Padres 2: Top players for the Padres were Nicholas Silva (1B, SB, 2 RBIs); Ethan Kwan (2B, R, SB); Jarrett Williams (2 IP, R, 5 K, 2 1B, SB).

For the Angels, top performers were: Jack Bleier (3 for 3, 2 2B, 2 R, 3 RBIs), Robert Grout (3 for 3, 2B, 2 R, RBI), and Justin Grumm (3 for 3, 2B, 3 R, 2 RBIs).
Muck dogs vs. Iron Pigs: For the Muckdogs, top contributors were Andrew James, Jordan Blanscett, and Mia Geraci. Top players for the Iron Pigs were Nikolai Mirra, Aaron Cahilig, and Jack Canfield. Ethan Pelkey had a solid base hit and earned the game ball for his defensive plays in the field.
