Mumford and Sons are headed back to the Bay Area for a three-night stand in Berkeley come late spring.

The Grammy-winning folk-rock act plays the Greek Theatre May 29-31.

Tickets, priced at $50, go on sale April 2 through www.ticketmaster.com. An on-sale time was not announced, but keep checking www.apeconcerts.com for more information. There is also a presale opportunity, which is detailed at http://invitation.mumfordandsons.com.

Mumford and Sons, which has quickly risen to become one of the world's biggest bands, will kick off their North American tour on May 21 in Calgary. The group will be supported on all dates by Michael Kiwanuka and Mystery Jets.

The group is supporting its sophomore effort, last year's "Babel," which won the 2013 Grammy for album of the year.
