SAN FRANCISCO -- A 55-year-old man found dead Wednesday afternoon under a BART train at the Glen Park station appears to have committed suicide, police said.
Police and paramedics were called to the station about 3:52 p.m. on Wednesday after reports that a person was under a train car. He was declared dead at the scene.
The Glen Park station was closed for about two hours as police investigated. Trains going south moved through the station without stopping, while power was shut off on the northbound tracks.
