Drivers headed through Pittsburg and Antioch should expect delays on Highway 4 this week as work continues to widen the road to eight lanes.

All lanes of eastbound Highway 4 will be closed in Pittsburg at Loveridge Road from 12:30 to 5:30 a.m. overnight Monday and Tuesday. All westbound lanes closed between the Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive exit in Antioch and Loveridge from 11 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. on those nights, according to a Caltrans news release.

Rainy weather and wet roads could postpone the work.

Also this week, a single eastbound lane will be closed between Railroad Avenue and Loveridge from midnight to 6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday. A single westbound lane will be closed between Somersville

Road/Auto Center and Loveridge from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday and Tuesday and 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday and Friday.

Both eastbound Loveridge onramps will be closed this week; the northbound ramp from 6 to 11 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. to noon Friday, and southbound from 6 to 10 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 6 to 11 a.m. Friday. It will also be closed 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

The westbound off-ramp to Somersville Road/Auto Center will be closed 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday and Tuesday, and 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday and Friday.

All lanes of Somersville Road/Auto Center Drive will be closed where it crosses under Highway 4 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., with the offramps remaining open.
