A man found engulfed in flames on a pedestrian overpass bridge in Napa has been identified as Adam Urbanik Lieberstein, 31, of Napa, it was announced Monday.
He is the son of Napa County District Attorney Gary Lieberstein and his wife Patti.
Just before 4 a.m. last Tuesday, police dispatchers received multiple phone calls from motorists on Highway 29 about a man on fire on the pedestrian overpass south of Trancas Street.
When Napa firefighters arrived, they found the burning man and quickly extinguished the flames, and tried to render aid. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
