SAN PABLO -- Two people were shot and seriously injured Tuesday night in a shooting at a bar near the San Pablo/Richmond border, police said.
Both victims were expected to survive the shooting, which occurred at 9:12 p.m. outside Jerry's Cocktail Lounge in the 13000 block of San Pablo Avenue, according to San Pablo police Sgt. Scott Cook. Both were hit more than once and taken by ambulance to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, police said.
The shooting took place in the parking lot, and police said they are investigating whether the motive came from anything that happened from inside the bar Tuesday night.
Police did not name any suspects, but witnesses told them three males were seen escaping the scene in a newer black sedan.
