SAN BRUNO -- Five people were arrested and several computers were seized in a raid on a suspected illegal online gaming parlor, police said.

Investigators targeted The Hub at 444 A San Mateo Ave. Tuesday because they believed, after getting complaints, the computers were part of a suspected illicit gaming operation, San Bruno police Lt. Geoff Caldwell said. No one was arrested in connection with running the wagering, but the raid was part of an ongoing investigation.

On Thursday afternoon, no one answered the phone number listed for the The Hub.

Police had also received complaints about illegal drug sales inside and outside The Hub, Caldwell said. As a result, San Mateo County Narcotics Task Force agents, along with San Bruno police and state Department of Justice agents carried out the raid.

Police took five people into custody, on drugs and a weapons charges and arrest warrants. Those arrested were Domingo Ayao, 36; Viliamu Uili, 57; Sonya Rekula, 46; Venus Jackson, 35; and Lisa Justin, 45, Caldwell said.
