OAKLAND -- A 22-year-old Oakland man died early Sunday after he was shot multiple times during a fight in front of a liquor store, police said.

The man, whose name wasn't released, died around 1 a.m. in a hospital from the wounds he suffered at about 4 p.m. Saturday on the 9000 block of MacArthur Boulevard, said Oakland police. No arrests have been made.

This is the 27th homicide of 2013 in Oakland. This time last year there 38 killings.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland have offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the killing. Anyone with information can call police 510-238-3821.
