To track the spread of sudden oak death in the Bay Area, UC Berkeley and the California Native Plant Society are holding several "SOD Blitz" meetings to train residents to identify the infection, use mapping tools and learn about treatments.

Learn how to identify infection and to use the distribution maps Saturday in Orinda and Berkeley, May 7 in San Francisco, May 18 in Saratoga, May 25 in Burlingame and Woodside, June 1 in Atherton and June 8 in Los Altos Hills.
