SARATOGA -- Two burglary suspects were arrested Monday after they broke into homes and residents tipped off authorities, the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies were called about 10:40 a.m. to the 18000 block of Westview Drive for reports of a suspicious person, and on their way there they were flagged down by another resident who reported seeing several males breaking into a home. When deputies approached, they fled.

As they chased them, another resident in the 18000 block of Kosich Drive reported a burglary.

They eventually caught and arrested 24-year-old San Jose resident Quang Ho on suspicion of burglary, attempted burglary, possessing burglary tools, and conspiracy. They also caught a second suspect after a lengthy chase and yard-to-yard search. He was identified as a 17-year-old boy from San Jose but his name was withheld because he is a minor.
