Firefighters extinguished a one-alarm fire at a portable structure on the campus of James Madison Elementary School in San Leandro this morning, according to fire officials.

At about 12:12 a.m., fire officials received a report of smoke and flames in the vicinity of the school, located at 14751 Juniper St.

According to fire officials, a portable structure had caught fire and was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, fire officials said.
