MOUNTAIN VIEW -- A domestic-violence suspect who escaped arrest in San Mateo County earlier in the week was caught Saturday in Mountain View, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.
Juan Carlos Valencia, 27, of Redwood City, had a $135,000 arrest warrant issued for him when authorities tracked him to a location near Central Expressway and Farley Street.
Valencia was the subject of a domestic-violence investigation when he eluded capture Thursday from the 2700 block of Devonshire Avenue in unincorporated San Mateo County near Redwood City.
An investigation led deputies to Mountain View, where they arrested Valencia with the help of Mountain View police at about 5:15 p.m. He was booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of domestic violence, false imprisonment, violating a protective order and making terrorist threats.
