PITTSBURG -- Separate fires burned a school district building and a two story house in Pittsburg on Thursday evening, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported in either fire.

A two-story house fire reported shortly before 6:30 p.m. on the 1500 block of Enterprise Circle left two adults and two children displaced, according to the fire district.

The second fire, which broke out shortly before 7 p.m., was at a Pittsburg School Facilities building on the 3200 block of Loveridge Road.

According to the fire officials, sprinklers inside of the building helped to control the fire. Crews were working Thursday night to clear out any smoke and residual water.

Damage estimates were not immediately available. Investigations are underway for the causes of both fires, which were unrelated.
