OAKLAND -- Two shootings about half-mile apart in East Oakland Friday night and early Saturday injured four people, but police don't believe they are linked.

No one was killed.

Two people in a car were shot at 100th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday. Both were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Earlier, about 9:55 p.m. Friday, a man and a woman were shot on the street in the 1800 block of 96th Avenue by a person in a car. They too have non-life threatening injuries.

The names or ages of the victims were not released by police.

Police do not yet have motives in the shootings and no arrests have been made.

There is a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the shooters.
