A private jet carrying Chris Brown made an emergency landing Monday in Burbank, after smoke filled the cockpit, according to TMZ.

No, I don't think Snoop Lion was flying the plane.

Right -- that was kind of softball. Anyway, Brown was headed to Teterboro, N.J., to attend the Met Gala in New York on Monday night. But seven or eights minutes into the flight, people noticed something wasn't right.

"It was A LOT of smoke ... everywhere," a source told TMZ.

The pilot turned around and landed back at Burbank Airport. TMZ reported the passengers were scared (go figure), but the pilot remained calm and handled the situation well.

That's why pilots get all the chicks.

Within an hour after landing, Brown reportedly got on another private jet and headed east. He supposedly missed the Met Gala, but made the after party, which is all that really matters.
